i feel like i've posted this everywhere (but obviously i haven't since i haven't updated this still) but i found out that i AM accepted to teach in france next year!!! i will be living somewhere in the "district" of lille. it is, by train, an hour from paris, 1.5 from london, 30 minutes from brussels. perfect. so i have deferred grad school (they were stoked on my opportunity).

so come september i will be in MF FRANCE.

so after having this LJ for the last 7 years, i decided to make a new one tonight. i just got so tired of this account name & didn't want to pay to rename it. i added everyone who i think still actually uses this thing on occasion...if i missed you please let me know. my new name is onequietnight.

even though all my entires the last two years or so were friends only, all of my old entries weren't...so last night & today i was so bored that i sat through & fixed them all. it took goddamn forever. plus i read all kinds of stupid things i wrote & got second-hand embarrassment.

i don't think any randoms look at this anymore since it's been friends only for so long, but i guess here is where i have obligatory "friends only, comment to be added" crap.

so yeah. that's all.
